“Capturing the spirit of the person in front of my lens is more than a job for me – it's a personal mission. My work, featured in the AGO and the Contact Photography Festival in Toronto, speaks to this passion.”
Omii Thompson is a passionate photographer whose work transcends the ordinary, capturing the spirit and essence of his subjects. His unique perspective, shaped by his dual cultural heritage of Toronto and New York, infuses his work with a distinctive style that embodies the cosmopolitan diversity of these cities.
Before specializing in portrait photography, Omii honed his storytelling skills as an animation designer, creating characters and storyboarding for television. This background now enriches his photography, enabling him to craft compelling visual narratives that resonate deeply with viewers.
His work has been featured in prestigious platforms such as the AGO and the Contact Photography Festival in Toronto, testament to his talent and dedication.
